Steel SIP Build Option
Introducing our more budget-friendly Ecopod option built using high-quality steel Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), saving on cost while delivering exceptional insulation properties and lighter structure.
Save 18% on the cost of a standard Ecopod building of the same design, while maintaining ability to get Council Code of Compliance Certificates.
Colour is Titania white, with a vertical rib cladding exterior. Built on the same timber floor with a vinyl floor covering, and with the same internal fit-out as our regular Ecopod builds.
Standard Ecopod warranties are void with Steel SIP build due to different method and Building Code standards.
SIPs are made by sandwiching expanded polystyrene or polyurethane panels with sheets of steel, joined together with overlaps, specialised glue and rivets. The panels are delivered pre-cut for window openings and sizing, making assembly faster and reducing material waste.
